Analysts continue to predict a decline in prices for dairy products in the second half of the year. For some items, primarily milk fat, the fall can occur even faster.

Events on the Ukrainian market are still developing as in an exporting country, although not everyone considers Ukraine to be such. That is, the prices for milk powder , whey and even butter in Ukraine are now already below the world prices. For some positions, the difference is significant, and mainly only because our neighbors, the Belarusians, who do not have a proper sales market in RUSSIA and are afraid of large warehouses, are ready to trade at low prices. For the same reason, this spring, Ukrainian traders bought decent volumes of dairy products from Belarus.

Price stability in the Ukrainian raw milk market never ceases to amaze. Spring is coming to an end, and processors are still paying the winter price for milk. But soon everything will change - "milk production will increase and it will become cheap." After all, the government decided to support livestock breeders with money. The other day, they finally announced the amount that the state intends to subsidize the livestock industry in 2021. As much as UAH 1.15 billion has been allocated for all areas, from beekeepers to processors. At the same time, only UAH 350 million was promised for the construction and reconstruction of livestock complexes and processing enterprises of all agricultural products (apparently, grain elevators). In general, with such support, there will be a lot of milk in the country very soon, Ukrainians will have to buy more and more Polish cheese and Belarusian butter.
