
June 30, MINSK. In May, violations of the legislation on prices and pricing were found in 59 organizations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation of Trade.
"According to the results of the control and analytical measures carried out in May, violations of the legislation on prices and pricing were detected in 59 business entities. Almost 90% of the violations identified are related to the excess of maximum trade allowances by trade entities," the ministry said.Most often last month, when pricing goods sold in retail outlets, they abused trade markups for SUGAR, buckwheat, wheat FLOUR (every fourth trader), bread and bakery products, sunflower oil (almost every fifth), baby food (every sixth). Other goods include boiled-smoked sausages, pasta, oatmeal flakes, semolina, table SALT, chicken eggs, MILK , butter and others.
In addition, five business entities, including two producers (bread and dry pasta), were found to exceed the allowable monthly level of price increases. Another manufacturer (sausages and semi-finished MEAT and bone products) violated the legislation on prices and pricing in terms of exceeding the marginal profitability standards established by authorized state bodies, as well as the established procedure for setting and applying prices.
For these facts during the reporting period, 28 perpetrators have already been brought to administrative responsibility, another 10 cases of administrative offenses are under consideration by the judiciary. With respect to the rest of the facts, preparations are being made for the beginning of the administrative process. In May-June 2022, another 24 perpetrators were brought to administrative responsibility.
In general, for 2022 (as of June 23), MART established 562 facts of non-compliance with the requirements of regulatory legal acts regulating pricing issues, sent 189 orders (recommendations) to eliminate violations, applied administrative and preventive measures against 274 perpetrators. Penalties on the considered administrative cases amounted to Br1.2 million.
