July 30, MINSK . On the TV channel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Cuba Valery Baranovsky spoke about the EXPORT of Belarusian products to Cuba and other countries, BelTA informs.
Commenting on the statements about the increase in the joint trade turnover between Cuba and Belarus, Valery Baranovsky noted: "We have an agreement on mutual deliveries, according to which, in order to avoid payment in cash, we supply Cuba with goods for a certain amount, and they supply us with the same amount back. The Ambassador drew attention to the interaction of countries in the pharmacological field. "In this direction, we are developing without interruption. There is a constant exchange of delegations, registration of medicines, exchange of mechanisms, various enterprises are operating. We recently registered two of our medical devices in Cuba." He also stressed that Belarusian MILK will be in demand in Cuba. "Any dairy products will go with a bang. Now the contract is the first, maybe the first batch of powdered milk is already being shipped to Cuba. it will arrive in three or four months. Let's see how the mechanism will work."
Valery Baranovsky noted that Belarus has already started cooperation with Nicaragua. "A contract will be signed for the supply of 15 MAZ vehicles for the municipality of Managua. AMKODOR has plans, the tractor plant has its own plans for the supply of tractors. Now we are implementing this first project, equipment worth $1 million. The potential, of course, is huge. Imagine "They made friends with CHINA. There used to be a problem there because of Taiwan. We signed an agreement with them to exchange goods duty-free, China mainly supplies food . And, as an example, Nicaragua has a very fertile land. Only 44-45% of the land is cultivated." That is, 50% of fertile land is not cultivated, because there is not enough equipment and not enough people .country, it seems to me, is moving in the right direction. We built 4,000 km of roads," he added.
The ambassador also said that the issue of supplies of Belarusian equipment to Nicaragua is being considered. "All this is in the future. In principle, the country's leadership, Ortega (President of the Republic of Nicaragua. - Approx. BelTA) and his team, are doing the right thing - leaving dependence on one state. At present, no matter how paradoxical it may seem, the main exporter , the importer and investor is the usa," he concluded.
