Rare Breeds and a Modern Approach. How Breeding Farming is Developing in the Uzda District

A private Belarusian company in the Uzda district is engaged in livestock breeding. More than 90% of the herd of Belintergen LLC is Holstein, which is the main MILK producer in the world. The company also breeds Jersey and rare for Belarus Ayrshire, Simmental, Highland, Angus and Belgian Blue. The bulk of the produced milk goes to the processing shop, a very small part - to the production of its own cheeses, which is currently being carried out in test mode. The main task of the research and production complex is to create the most comfortable conditions for animals so that their maintenance, feeding and milking are at their best. The company is constantly modernizing. Thus, a new milking and dairy block was built (the old milking parlor is mothballed), feed storage facilities, haylage trenches, warehouses - in a word, everything necessary for modern livestock maintenance.
