The terms of application in the EAEU of the certificate of origin of serial products have been extended

April 30, Moscow. The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council has extended the terms of application of the certificate of origin of serial products until August 1, 2022 inclusive. This decision was made at the meeting held in Kazan on April 29-30, which was attended by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, BelTA learned from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

“In the context of the pandemic, changing national legislation and adjusting information systems took longer than expected,” the EEC noted. “The norm is necessary for Kazakhstani enterprises to reduce administrative costs. trade of Kazakhstan with other states of the Eurasian Economic Union in goods for which special conditions of circulation related to obligations in the WTO are applied.

A certificate of serial production is issued to the manufacturer and applies to all deliveries of a particular product carried out during this period to other states of the EAEU. “Thus, it is not required to certify each shipment,” the EEC explained. “We are talking only about goods produced in Kazakhstan and intended for movement to other countries of the EAEU. The range of goods covered by this rule is strictly defined. Among such products: carcasses , half-carcasses and meat of cattle, pigs, domestic chickens, fish, kefir and other fermented or fermented milk and cream, whey, pasta".
