Eight new enterprises within the framework of import substitution will start working in the Moscow region

“For 2023, as part of the import substitution program, we plan to commission eight companies. So, Malkin's farm in Shakhovskaya will launch a first-order reproducer of meat and egg breeds of chickens. In the second half of the year, the Elinar Broiler factory in Naro-Fominsk will start operating,” said Georgy Filimonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, who is in charge of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. 

A plant for the production of breast milk substitutes will be launched in Istra. Pobeda Confectionery will expand its production. 

A large federal project to create a poultry complex and a breeding and genetic center for growing cross-country meat chickens "Smena" will start working in Sergiev Posad. Preliminarily, its launch is scheduled for March 30. 

In total, 26 import substitution projects are planned for implementation in the Moscow region. The total investment in all projects is about 40 billion rubles. As a result, more than 3,200 jobs should be created in the region.
