By 2030, egg production is planned to increase almost sixfold compared to 2021 levels.
According to forecasts, egg production in the region will reach 808 million eggs per year, up from 145 million in 2021. To achieve the national goal of growing the entire agricultural sector by 25%, the required volume is 181 million eggs, highlighting the ambitious nature of the industry plans, which are focused on both the domestic and export markets . Thirteen agricultural enterprises operate in the Moscow Region's poultry industry, eight of which specialize in the production of hatching and food
eggs . A range of state support measures is being implemented to ensure their stable operation and increase productivity.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region reported that target achievement is being ensured through the support and modernization of existing production facilities and the implementation of new investment projects. The construction of new modern facilities will contribute primarily to this growth. Currently, one large-scale project is planned, which will account for over 70% of the total planned production volume by 2030.
The key investment project is the construction of a poultry farming complex by Belyanka LLC (LETO Group) in the village of Pyatnitsa in the Kashira urban district. The investment volume is 6 billion rubles, the facility's capacity will be 550 million eggs per year, and 300 new jobs are planned to be created. The project is currently in the active construction phase.
Particular attention is being paid to the development of advanced egg processing, which has high export potential. Processed products such as mélange, dry egg whites, and yolks, which enjoy stable demand on the international market, will diversify the region's export portfolio and increase foreign exchange earnings. Thus, at the Golden Autumn 2025 exhibition, an agreement was signed with Kaya-Trade LLC to implement a project to build a modern egg processing plant. The plant will have a production capacity of 250 tons of boiled eggs, 300,000 packages of processed eggs, and 500,000 liters of egg mixture per year.
A comprehensive approach combining support for existing producers, attracting major investment, and developing processing capacity will not only exceed targets but also strengthen Kaya-Trade's position as one of Russia's leading agricultural regions.
