In the Perm region, a poultry farm was held accountable for violating veterinary rules for keeping poultry

During the inspection, the following violations were identified:

the fencing of the territory in some places is not tightly installed to the ground, there are gaps from 10 to 15 cm, which do not provide protection against unintentional entry of wild animals into the territory; there is no equipment for heating the disinfection barrier installed at the entrance to the main production area in winter, as it has been dismantled; At the entrance to the slaughter, processing and disposal area, a dry disinfection barrier is placed, which is an embankment on a hard road surface made of a mixture of sawdust and dry bleach. This disinfection barrier does not meet veterinary requirements.

The identified violations indicate a violation of the requirements of the Veterinary Rules for keeping birds at closed poultry enterprises (poultry farms).

On August 23, 2023, the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor drew up an administrative protocol in relation to LLC Poultry Farm Mendeleevskaya under Part 1 of Art. 10.6 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. An order was issued to eliminate the identified violations.

On September 26, 2023, the territorial administration held the legal entity liable and punished with a fine.
