Cases of falsification of rabies virus antibody test protocols discovered in Moscow region

This test is mandatory for traveling with pets to the USA , UAE, Taiwan, Japan, Israel, South Korea, China , Switzerland and the European Union. In Russia, only two laboratory institutions are accredited to conduct such tests: FGBU VGNKI and FGBU VNIIZZH.

If counterfeits are found, animals are not allowed to move, protocols are cancelled, and the case is transferred to law enforcement agencies. Experts strongly recommend checking the authenticity of documents on the E-cert website of the FGIS "VetIS"
