Two tons of meat from the Sverdlovsk region were not let through in Kurgan

In Kurgan, a car was stopped in which they transported two tons of beef without appropriate documents from the Sverdlovsk to the Tyumen region. This was reported on January 13 by the press service of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Kurgan and Chelyabinsk regions.

“On January 12, 2022, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions, together with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Kurgan, detained a car in the city of Kurgan, the body of which was filled to the brim with beef carcasses and half carcasses. The approximate weight of the transported products was two tons,” the press service said.

The owner of the MEAT noted that he was carrying beef from Sverdlovsk to the Tyumen region for personal consumption. it turned out that the transporter did not have documents confirming the safety of the beef. The meat will be returned back for a veterinary and sanitary examination. The owner of the meat was accused of violating the veterinary and sanitary rules for transporting animals.
