In Kaliningrad, the export of 17.6 tons of meat products was stopped due to violations.

The products were destined for the Volgograd Region. A document check revealed that the electronic veterinary accompanying documents (eVSDs) issued in the Mercury Federal State Information System (FSIS) had the status "canceled" prior to delivery. This constitutes a violation of veterinary and sanitary safety regulations. Furthermore, an inspection of some of the shipment revealed products with production dates not specified in the veterinary certificates, which also violates established regulations. Due to these discrepancies, the release of the batch of MEAT was prohibited. ROSSELKHOZNADZOR emphasized that monitoring compliance with veterinary certification regulations is important for preventing the spread of unsafe products and ensuring the country's food security.
