
As a result, cases of illegal transportation of farm animals were revealed. 18 heads of cattle were transported without the necessary veterinary documents from Kabardino-Balkaria to the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. The owners of the animals were issued orders to quarantine the cattle , as well as to conduct mandatory diagnostic tests and veterinary treatments.
Such raids are carried out to prevent the import and spread of animal diseases, which could negatively affect the epizootic situation and the economy of the region as a whole.
