Laboratory tests conducted from April 21 to 29 at the Belgorod testing laboratory of the All-Russian Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health (VNIIZG) revealed product non-compliance with the requirements of the Customs Union's technical regulations regarding food and dairy product safety. Meat samples were found to contain ingredients not listed in the ingredients list, potentially misleading consumers. Regarding the dairy products, deviations in the fatty acid composition and the presence of vegetable fats were detected. These additives were not listed on the packaging, indicating counterfeiting.

Rosselkhoznadzor specialists sent information letters to the owners and recipients of unsafe products and requests to Rospotrebnadzor , the Committee for the Protection of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, the Federal Tax Service, and the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Belgorod Region to take appropriate measures. Declarations of conformity for the identified products were revoked on April 29.
