Among the numerous facilities introduced in the Year of the Village, the slaughterhouse in the Vavozhsky district is perhaps of particular importance.
For the area where there was no slaughter shop, it became possible to slaughter livestock, first of all, for owners of personal farmsteads and farmers. Yes, and for large farms this is a help. In fairness, we note that in the region there is one slaughter shop in the SHPK - Kolos collective farm, but in such a large farm it can only be used for its own needs.
At own expense
The new slaughterhouse was built by an individual entrepreneur Zakir Dzhumaev - he invested his own funds in an object worth 12 million rubles. He did not receive any grants or subsidies from the state. About 10 heads of cattle can be slaughtered here per day. Three new jobs have been created here. When the workshop reaches full capacity, three more workers will be hired here.
For Zakir Torayevich himself, the opening of the slaughterhouse is also a very important event. It will take its place in the technological chain of its production. Eighteen years ago, the entrepreneur ended up in the Vavozhsky district and rented an empty sausage shop. According to Zakir Djumaev, in order to put production in order, equip it with equipment, and attract workers, they had to work six days a week for 24 hours. He practically lived in the workshop.
- From the first meeting with Zakir Torayevich, I realized that this is a person who does not stop there, - Oleg Ovchinnikov, HEAD of the Vavozhsky District, said at the opening of the workshop. - He has been working in the Vavozhsky district for many years, and his products are known throughout the country. And this, above all, thanks to his approach to the issue of quality. Today, with the opening of a slaughterhouse, our agricultural enterprises have the opportunity to receive these services without leaving the region. And it is important from the point of view of the economy that money is accumulated in the region, so that the residents of the region receive quality products.

I want to congratulate all the residents of the Vavozhsky District on the fact that another point of growth appears here, and I think that all this will work for the development of the territory, for the development of the district and, of course, for the development of the Udmurt Republic, - said Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Udmurt Republic - Minister of Agriculture and Food Olga Abramova.
And Zakir Toraevich thanked his team, without whom this event would not have happened. Dzhumaev expressed special gratitude to his wife Olga Vyacheslavovna, whom, as he emphasized, he loves very much.

Tour and innovations
After the traditional cutting of the red ribbon, the owner of the new workshop gave a tour around it. The very center of the slaughterhouse is the jamming box. Then the carcass is freed from the skin and butchered. The workshop is standard, however, some of Dzhumaev's innovations make it unique. So, the carcass is released from the skin not in a suspended vertical position, as is usually done, but on a special cart, on which the carcass is placed on its back. This, according to Zakir Toraevich, allows you to perform work without special training. According to Dzhumaev's drawings, his acquaintance in Mozhga made a special table for cutting.
“I don’t want to brag,” the businessman says, “I just state that you won’t find such a workshop anywhere, it is in a single copy. This workshop can be very easily converted into a large-capacity slaughterhouse. If there is an opportunity to score 20-40 goals. There is a reserve of space. Please note that the entire structure is made in the construction version. As a veterinarian, I can say that the fewer items in the workshop, the more cleanliness can be guaranteed.
The new slaughterhouse for Dzhumaev's enterprise is a new stage, an important link in the technological chain. He will provide production with his raw materials - beef, and this, in turn, will expand the range of products due to the expensive and exclusive segment - servelats, hard-smoked sausages ... Therefore, this year Zakir Toraevich intends to fulfill his old dream - to open a new sausage shop for five tons , modern, technological, productive. There will also be a laboratory, which the company does not yet have. According to the owner, almost everything can be produced in the new workshop. The old workshop will be redesigned for semi-finished products. As a result, the profitability of production will reach 30 percent. If there is a fall in the sausage shop, the semi-finished products shop will work.
There will be a greenhouse next to the new workshop.
“I grew up in a large family and, one might say, in the garden,” says Dzhumaev. I still grow cucumbers and tomatoes. I have tomatoes - more than a kilogram piece, I show everyone. So I decided to start a greenhouse. Year-round, with gas heating.
The project also has a CHEESE FACTORY, where 500 liters of MILK will be processed and 50-60 kilograms of cheese will be produced. First, soft cheeses will be produced in it, and then hard ones. The cost of the entire project is 20 million rubles. Zakir Torayevich told the guests about this, demonstrating a sketch of the project.
“Come to us for a grant,” Olga Abramova immediately suggested and took the word from the entrepreneur that he would “visit” the facility in May and complete it in five months.
Diversification Example
As Olga Abramova notes, the Vavozhsky district is an example of economic diversification. Many farms invest not only in milk , but also in crop production, create their own, albeit small, processing, bake bread. Zakir Djumaev follows the same path. In addition to MEAT processing with an assortment of 60-65 types of sausages and semi-finished products, he also has a bakery shop where several types of bread are baked, more than 60 types of pastries. Only 20 types of cakes are produced here. And now there will be a greenhouse and a cheese factory. Will definitely be.
“A good dream is half the wealth,” Zakir Torayevich likes to say.
At the same time, Dzhumaev actively participates in the life of the district. Often sponsors various events. For example, at rural sports games, he provided competitions with his sausage cuts, and even gave each delegation a gift - a package with meat goodies and a cake. Participates in the development of public spaces. He invested half a million in the asphalt surface of the site in the regional center, and one hundred thousand in the sports ground. And he says that he is ready to continue investing in the improvement and development of public territory. Dzhumaev invested about one hundred thousand rubles in the construction of a sports ground.
“He is a unique person,” Oleg Ovchinnikov, the head of the district, says about him.
And this unique person has grandiose plans. After completing the project with a new sausage shop, a greenhouse and a cheese factory, he wants to start a bullhouse for the production of marbled meat. Although as a veterinarian, he considers it harmful. In his opinion, there is nothing better than country meat.
He intends to establish contacts with associations and cooperatives of farmers who are now actively developing beef cattle breeding.
A distant dream for Dzhumaev is to replicate his experience in other areas. True, the franchise needs funds. But he is ready to share both experience and projects. Yes, and he already has a person for this job in mind.
