
The Tomsk region has retained its leadership in the Siberian Federal District in terms of dairy productivity of cattle.
According to preliminary estimates, the volume of production in the agro-industrial complex of the region increased by 4.1 billion rubles compared to the previous year.
Agricultural organizations increased milk production by 4.1% over the year. The Tomsk region has retained its leadership in the Siberian Federal District in terms of milk productivity with an indicator of 7630 kg per cow. In advanced farms, it is even higher: Sibirskoe Moloko milks 9626 kg per cow, Dubrovskoye milks 9018 kg, Belostok milks 8514 kg, Mezheninovskaya Agrofirma milks 8509 kg.
The production of livestock and poultry meat in live weight in farms of all categories in 2022 increased by 1.8% and amounted to 165.5 thousand tons.
According to the results of the harvesting campaign, which took place in difficult weather conditions, Tomsk grain growers harvested a record half a million tons of grain. The gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops after processing increased by 12.2% compared to last year, with an average yield of 26.9 centners per hectare (+ 10.2% by 2021).
Vegetable growers, despite the unfavorable autumn for harvesting, dug up 118.5 thousand tons of potatoes (+ 9.2% by 2021, yield - 153.9 centners per hectare) and harvested 20.9 thousand tons of vegetables (+ 2.5 %).
“Thanks to the technical equipment of agricultural enterprises carried out in recent years, our farmers managed to complete the harvest with less losses than could be. In 2022 alone, the farms purchased more than 300 units of agricultural machinery worth more than 1.5 billion rubles, - said Andrey Knorr, Deputy Governor of the Tomsk Region for Agro-Industrial Policy and Environmental Management. — In order to further assess the efficiency of the work of farmers, it is necessary to take into account how difficult their working conditions are in 2022. The cost of costs has increased for all the main means of production, including those of domestic origin - for machinery, plant protection products, fuel, seeds, fertilizers and more.
