The prosecutor's office revealed the facts of sale in Barun-Khemchik and Dzun-Khemchik regions of meat and meat products without veterinary documents

Bodies of the prosecutor's office of the republic carry out inspections of compliance with the requirements of veterinary and sanitary and epidemiological legislation in the sale of meat and meat products.

Based on the results of such an inspection by the prosecutor's office of the Barun-Khemchik district, in the activities of a self-employed citizen who carries out

the sale of meat and meat products in a butcher's shop, violations of the requirements of 21 of the Law of the Russian Federation dated 14.05.1993 No. 4979-1 "On Veterinary Medicine" were revealed. It was established that the citizen accepted the goods controlled by the state veterinary supervision - 260 kg of beef in the absence of accompanying veterinary documents  confirming the quality and safety of the goods.

Similar violations of the sale of mutton, beef, liver, dumplings and barbecue without veterinary documents by an individual entrepreneur were revealed by the prosecutor's office of the Dzun-Khemchik district in retail outlets in the city of Chadan, the Tuva Prosecutor's Office told Tuva-Online. 

For all facts of violations of the law, according to the decisions of the prosecutors of the Barun-Khemchiksky and Dzun-Khemchisky districts of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republics of Khakassia and Tuva and the Kemerovo region-Kuzbass, the perpetrators were brought to administrative responsibility  under Part 1 of Art. 10.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and fined. Violations have been eliminated, all necessary veterinary documents have been received for meat.
