Milk production in the Voronezh region over 9 months increased by 4.1%, meat - by 1.6%

Over the past 9 months, 875.5 million eggs were produced on farms in the region, which is 22.8% more than a year earlier.

As of October 1, farms of all categories in the Voronezh region kept 873 thousand heads of cattle (a decrease of 2.1%), including cows - 169.5 thousand (a decrease of 1.7%), pigs - almost 2.1 million heads (an increase of 7.4%), sheep and goats - 174.1 thousand heads (a decrease of 1.7%).
