The Russian government approved a new organizational structure for the Ministry of Agriculture.

Until now, the Ministry of Agriculture had only 19 departments and no directorates. According to the new resolution, departments and directorates are now officially recognized as the ministry's main structural units, including individual divisions. The ministry's structure already underwent changes in 2022, when the number of departments increased from 15 to 18, and then to 19. The latest changes are aimed at improving the agency's functional flexibility in managing the country's agricultural sector.
