The Moscow region plans to conclude eight agreements in the field of agriculture and food at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the total investment in these projects will be about 40 billion rubles. Georgy Filimonov, deputy chairman of the regional government , told TASS on Thursday .

"At SPIEF, 8 agreements worth about 40 billion rubles of investments will be signed with enterprises in the field of agriculture and food in the region. The region's largest investment projects will be supported in obtaining preferential lending terms, allocating subsidies, processing all necessary documents for the implementation of projects," he said.

According to him, the forum will sign an agreement on cooperation in the construction of a complex for the production of confectionery "Sweet Machines". it is planned to place a logistics center and the production of sweets, chocolate, sweet soda and ice cream from natural MILK and cream on the site. It is planned that the enterprise will produce analogues of well-known bars based on nougat, peanuts and caramel.

An agreement on cooperation with the region will also be concluded as part of the construction of the second stage of the Podmoskovye greenhouse complex in the urban district of Voskresensk. It is assumed that vegetables will be grown there. The area of ​​the second stage of the complex will exceed 20 hectares.

"An agreement on cooperation will also be signed with two major projects in the field of poultry farming. In the region, the peasant farm "Malkin R. Yu" is building a first-order reproducer. This will produce 13.5 million eggs per year. The trading house of the Okskaya poultry farm is building a poultry complex , where they plan to receive 450 million hatching eggs per year," the deputy chairman added.
