Foreign sites for the production of veterinary drugs are checked for compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards by specialists from the Inspection Body of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “VGNKI” together with colleagues from Rosselkhoznadzor .
Since the beginning of the year, 25 foreign sites have been inspected. Conclusions on compliance with GMP standards have been received by manufacturers from China , Argentina, Germany, France and the Czech Republic.
However, not all foreign sites for the production of veterinary drugs manage to pass this inspection. Thus, at 19 sites in Belgium, Germany, France, the USA , Spain, non-conformities were identified during inspections and now they can provide plans for corrective and preventive actions to the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VGNKI", on the basis of which decisions will be made on the compliance or non-compliance of enterprises with GMP standards.
In addition, the Inspection Body of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “VGNKI” successfully completed the procedure for confirming competence, and also updated and expanded the scope of accreditation.
The inspection was carried out by Rosaccreditation experts. "In addition to confirming a high level of competence, the Inspection Body of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VGNKI" expanded the current scope of accreditation to conduct inspections in the field of assessing the conformity of food products, medicines, feed and feed additives with the requirements of technical regulations, regulatory documentation of the manufacturer and other regulatory legal acts," the department said in a statement.
