The volume of preferential lending to farmers in Dagestan exceeded 3 billion rubles

“In 2023, banks issued preferential loans to our agricultural producers in the amount of more than 3 billion rubles. Last year, these figures were only 1.2 billion rubles,” said the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic Mukhtarbiy Adzhekov.

According to him, VTB, Sberbank and Rosselkhozbank are working most actively in this direction. “The funds are primarily aimed at the development of viticulture, the establishment of new orchards, the purchase of agricultural machinery, and the development of livestock farming,” added Mukhtarbiy Adzhekov.
