Dairy pedestal: which of the Belarusian rich succeeded in milk yield

In 2015, Smolevichi Broiler, owned by the “chicken king”, ranked second in terms of MILK yield among the largest private enterprises in the country, losing the palm to the undisputed leader of the dairy market, Alexander Moshensky, who owns the Savushkino agricultural enterprise in the Maloritsky district.

On the third line of this rating was a branch of the Russian Concern Detskoselsky, owned by Yuri Braginets.

The top ten also includes two more foreign investors: the German Lorenz-Peter Stotz (the Stotz-Agroservice enterprise in the Smolevichi district) and one of the richest people in the world, the Mexican Carlos Slim Elu.

True, for a Mexican rich man, dairy farms in the Starodorozhsky district are non-core assets. He owns them through mobile operator velcom. This is a typical situation for foreign businessmen who came to Belarus.

Thus, among the Belarusian milk producers are the Austrian shareholders of RaiffeisenBank International and Priorbank (a branch of Lakney in the Kopyl district) and the owners of one of the world's largest retailers of the Finnish company Kesko (a branch of OMA in the Berezinsky district).
