
Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky took over the management of the 1st MINSK Poultry Farm.
The agenda of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the factory included an item “on the conclusion of an agreement on the transfer of powers of the executive body (the HEAD of OJSC “1st Minsk Poultry Farm”) to OJSC Agrocombinat “Dzerzhinsky”. In fact, it was about the transition of the capital company under the wing of a larger agricultural complex.
This decision was made by the authorities of Minsk and the Minsk region.
- The task is to establish efficient production. Along with this, personnel optimization took place, which will reduce the cost part, the interlocutors said.
Now the manager of the "1st Minsk Poultry Farm" is Maxim Khotko. Prior to that, he worked at the Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky.
Previously, the general DIRECTOR of the Minsk poultry farm was Alexander Zabello. For 7 years, until October 2019, he headed the Belgospischeprom concern and resigned amid a corruption scandal in the Krystalovsky holding.
However, back in February 2021, Zabello was making long-term plans for the future of the poultry farm. In an interview with Minsk Pravda, he admitted that the company is going through difficult times. At the same time, he hoped that he would be able to move from losses to generating profits by increasing the EXPORT potential. Along with this, the task was to reduce costs. Among the plans was the cultivation of embryos, which serve as the raw material for the creation of vaccines against various viruses, the development of a new type of product from processed raw materials (defective eggs) and the advanced processing of poultry MEAT.
"1st Minsk Poultry Farm" is the largest producer of chicken eggs in Belarus with a complete technological cycle: parent flock - incubator - rearing of young animals - maintenance of an industrial herd of laying hens to obtain food eggs. At various times, it included the Minsk Poultry Farm named after N.K. Krupskaya, Ivenets poultry farm, Dubovlyany, pioneer, Pobeda poultry farms, as well as 11 former collective farms and state farms.
