Galich poultry farm in 2022 reduced net profit by 30% with the highest revenue in 6 years

Poultry JSC " Galichskoe " (the largest poultry farm in the Kostroma region) in 2022 received 203 million rubles of net profit, which is 29.7% less than a year earlier, the company's report says.

Revenue last year grew by 10.9% - up to 2.184 billion rubles. According to the JSC's reports, since 2017 this indicator has become a record for the enterprise.

Cost of sales in 2022 increased by 16% to RUB 1.429 billion, gross profit increased by 2.3% to RUB 755.5 million.

Selling expenses of the enterprise last year increased by 30.6% - up to 408 million rubles, management expenses - by 8.1%, up to 105.5 million rubles. Under the influence of these factors, the profit from sales decreased by 26.3% - to 241.9 million rubles. "Other income" increased 1.4 times - up to 33.5 million rubles, "other expenses" - by 33.7%, up to 76.7 million rubles. Profit before tax and net profit decreased by 29.7%, amounting to 203 million rubles.

The press service of the Governor of the Kostroma Region reported in October 2021 that JSC Galichskoye would invest more than 442 million rubles by the end of 2022 in the implementation of the second stage of the investment project to expand production. it includes the construction of three poultry houses.

According to the press service of the HEAD of the region, JSC "Galichskoye" ranks first in terms of egg production in the Kostroma region.

In 2020, the poultry farm became one of three Russian enterprises that received the right to EXPORT eggs to Saudi Arabia. Deliveries are made to the regions of the Central Federal District, the Vologda, Arkhangelsk and Murmansk regions, as well as to Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria and the Crimea.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Galichskoye JSC was registered in 1993. The co-owners of the enterprise are not disclosed, the head of the joint-stock company is Vasily Komissarov.
