
In January-February 2021, RUSSIA reduced imports of fresh and frozen MEAT by 13.7% compared to the same period last year - to 38.3 thousand tons, the volume of poultry meat supplies decreased by 32.2% - to 23.6 thousand tons, follows from the materials of the Federal Customs Service (FTS).
The import of fish to the Russian Federation in January-February decreased by 2.4% - to 76 thousand tons, the EXPORT of fish during this period decreased by 35.7% - to 173.2 thousand tons. Imports of condensed MILK and cream decreased by 15.3% to 18.4 thousand tons, butter - by 1% to 22.6 thousand tons, cheese and cottage cheese - increased by 15.9% to 55.3 thousand tons .
Imports of citrus fruits in January-February decreased by 3.1%, amounting to 412.2 thousand tons, imports of bananas decreased by 9.1%, to 244.9 thousand tons, apples - increased by 0.4%, to 183.1 thousand tons. Imports of meat products and canned meat decreased by 1.5% to 2.3 thousand tons. Coffee imports increased by 10.4% to 41.7 thousand tons, tea - decreased by 4.4% to 22.3 thousand tons.
At the same time, imports of raw SUGAR increased by 46.1% to 1.3 thousand tons, white sugar - by 10.1% to 15.3 thousand tons. Imports of cocoa beans increased by 16.7% to 10.9 thousand tons, cocoa butter - by 21.7% to 5.8 thousand tons, and imports of products containing cocoa decreased by 1.7% to 21.6 thousand tons.
In turn, imports of soybeans to Russia in January-February increased by 2.8% and amounted to 286.5 thousand tons, palm oil - by 26.9%, to 182.3 thousand tons.

Export of vodka from Russia in January-February decreased by 16.9% - to 177.892 thousand decaliters. Imports of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in DOLLAR terms increased by 5.6% to $387.1 million, cigarettes and cigars - by 17.7% to $11.4 million. Imports of raw tobacco decreased in physical terms by 32.8% to 17.4 thousand tons.
