Genomic selection is a key tool for increasing the profitability of farms. Modern research methods used in the center allow selecting animals with valuable economic traits: disease resistance, high fertility, rapid weight gain, meat or milk quality, etc., as well as reducing livestock maintenance costs through early productivity forecasting and improving the genetic potential of the herd, increasing the competitiveness of agricultural producers, including in the global market.

Miratorg's Genomic Selection Center conducts more than 400,000 DNA studies annually and is among the world's TOP-10 genetic laboratories for livestock. The company's investments in modern equipment and technologies amounted to 200 million rubles.

"We voluntarily confirm compliance with international standards, because it is important for us that each study brings real economic benefits to the farmer. Our goal is to help Russian livestock breeders improve the efficiency of their farms and successfully compete with foreign producers," the press service of Miratorg commented.

The Miratorg-Genetics Genomic Selection Center is a leading Russian laboratory specializing in genetic research in animal husbandry. It has been operating since 2019, providing farmers with scientifically based solutions for breeding and increasing livestock productivity.
