July 25, Brest. The Lyakhovichi district department of the Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into the death of a person in an artificial reservoir, Alexander Troyanovsky, HEAD of the ROSC, told BelTA.
The accident occurred on the territory of one of the garden associations of the Lyakhovichi district. it was established that a 34-year-old resident of Baranovichi was visiting his friend. On the evening of July 22, the men drank. Having consumed a "good" dose of ALCOHOL, the guest was about to go home, but the host persuaded him to stay until the morning. Waking up the next day, the man did not find his friend. Being sure that he had left, he went about his business and only a day later found the body of the guest in an artificial reservoir not far from the house.An inspection of the scene was carried out, eyewitnesses of the incident were interviewed, a forensic medical examination was appointed.
So that the vacation does not turn into a tragedy, the Investigative Committee strongly recommends that citizens observe safety measures on the water: do not swim in prohibited places, do not enter the water while intoxicated , do not swim behind buoys and do not dive in unfamiliar places.
