The accident occurred on August 13 at 1 am on the 178th km of the M11 road, the border of Lithuania - Lida - Slonim - Byten. According to preliminary information, a Hyundai Santafe car driven by a 34-year-old resident of the Ivatsevichi district ran into a 35-year-old cyclist who was moving in the same direction along the edge of the carriageway.it was established that both the driver of the car and the cyclist were drunk - 2.4 ppm and 1.6 ppm blood ALCOHOL, respectively, according to the results of the examination. In addition, the bicycle was not marked with a headlamp emitting white light in the front and a red lamp in the rear.
