A resident of the Mogilev region who unreasonably beat a teenager was taken into custody

November 21, Minsk. A resident of the Mogilev region, who had beaten a teenager for no reason, was taken into custody. This was reported to BelTA in the information service of the prosecutor's office of the Mogilev region.

The prosecutor of the Mogilev region authorized the choice of a preventive measure in the form of detention against a 34-year-old local resident. The man was charged with hooligan acts, accompanied by the use of violence.

A suspect in a state of alcoholic intoxication in the daytime on November 9 at a car park in the agricultural town of Veino, without explanation, grabbed one of the teenagers passing by by the clothes. After that, he unreasonably struck him with one blow with his head in the area of ​​​​the head. As a result, a minor born in 2009 was beaten.

The prosecutor authorized the application of the said measure of restraint, taking into account the circumstances of the crime, its severity and data on the identity of the suspect, who has an outstanding conviction.
