June 20, MINSK. In two days, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted almost 430 air raids over swimming and recreation areas. This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
For two days, on June 18 and 19, to prevent the death of citizens on the water, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out 429 raids in places of recreation for people at water bodies. They examined more than 1 thousand water bodies with and without equipped places for swimming, instructed on safety measures (including the use of megaphones), and also informed almost 10 thousand people (including more than 7 thousand . minors).
Emergencies Ministry employees also carried out aerial monitoring of water bodies in order to identify unauthorized bathing places and violations of the rules for protecting people's lives on the waters. The Osipovichi district of the Mogilev region, 11 districts of the Vitebsk region and 19 of the Minsk region were targeted. The departure was carried out by three aircraft from the airfields of Lipki, Ozerki and Vitebsk. As a result, along the air patrol routes, rescuers examined 179 water bodies (reservoirs, lakes, rivers and large ponds), where they installed 41 unauthorized bathing places, where there were more than a hundred people.
The raid participants, using loud-speaking devices, reminded citizens of the basic rules of behavior on the water and the inadmissibility of being in the water while intoxicated , as well as the need to constantly monitor the presence of children in the water.
During aviation patrolling, the fire hazard situation in natural ecosystems is also monitored, which makes it possible to detect fires in forests at the initial stage of their development.
