February 6, Mogilev. Over the past weekend, almost 940 traffic violations were recorded on the roads of the Mogilev region. BelTA was informed about this by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee.

"The traffic police officers revealed 937 traffic violations. 12 drivers in a state of alcoholic intoxication and 40 lawless people were detained," the police department said.

274 pedestrians were brought to administrative responsibility for violating traffic rules. Of these, 81 were in a state of intoxication.

Over the weekend, no road accidents with victims were registered in the region.
