A 33-year-old Gomel resident with a bundle of marijuana was detained by OMON police officers. The total weight of the prohibited substance exceeded 3 g. Investigators opened a criminal case against the man for drug trafficking.

In general, during the action, the forces of all district police departments of the regional center were used to the maximum, both OMON fighters and servicemen of the military unit 5525 of the internal troops entered the patrol routes. More than 200 combatants also helped law enforcement officers.

In addition to courtyards, police officers monitored the situation near trade facilities where alcohol is sold.

As a result, 6 citizens who were wanted were identified, 81 facts of violation of anti-alcohol legislation were stopped. 21 offenders were sent to a specialized isolation ward.
