The Mogilev prosecutor's office supported in 
COURT the state prosecution in a criminal case against a previously repeatedly convicted and unemployed 58-year-old local resident, who is accused of desecration of monuments to defenders of the Fatherland and fraudulent actions. BELTA was informed about this by the information service of the Mogilev region prosecutor's office. 
The accused is able
ALCOHOL intoxication on September 21 last year, on the territory of the memorial complex "Fighters for Soviet Power", classified as a monument to the defenders of the Fatherland and located on Glory Square in Mogilev, he threw a bottle towards the Eternal Flame. 
Some time later, the defendant, through deception, under the pretext of sale, took possession of the coin “Efimok with a sign” worth $1.8 thousand (in the equivalent of over Br5.9 thousand), made in 1655. Moreover, the accused initially did not intend to fulfill his obligations. 
During the court hearing, the defendant did not admit his guilt. Taking into account the evidence presented by the state prosecutor, the Leninsky District 
Court of Mogilev ruled a guilty verdict. On the basis of part 2 of article 346 and part 2 of article 209 of the Criminal Code, the accused was sentenced to imprisonment for 2 years 6 months in a correctional colony under strict security conditions for a combination of crimes. 
The verdict has not entered into legal force and can be appealed and appealed.
