Tractor show to be shown at Field Day in Vologda Oblast

A demonstration of agricultural machinery and advanced agricultural technologies will take place on August 23 near the village of Salkovo in the Vologda District. More than 80 organizations and dealerships will present their capabilities.
"As per tradition, there will be a competition of machine operators and plowmen, as well as a tractor show "Best Racer-2024" and "Pilot of the Year" among the heads of the regional agricultural management bodies and directors of agricultural enterprises. There will be meetings of suppliers of machinery, equipment, and fertilizers. In the field, participants and guests of the exhibition will get acquainted with modern agricultural machinery and equipment, means of protection and maintenance of plants and animals, achievements in biotechnology, and digitalization of the agro-industrial complex," said Acting Governor Georgy Filimonov.
About 180 units of equipment will be presented at the exhibition. The event also includes a plenary session with companies of the agro-industrial complex and round tables on current topics.
The event will be attended by members of the regional government, heads and representatives of district and regional agricultural management bodies, management and employees of the regional Department of Agriculture and Food Resources, representatives of companies supplying agricultural machinery and equipment, machine operators, agronomists, livestock specialists, engineers, veterinarians and heads of peasant (farming) households.
