Agricultural enterprises of the Stavropol Territory prepared more than half of the equipment for spring

For the successful implementation of the entire cycle of field work in the agricultural organizations of the region, agricultural machinery is being repaired throughout the year. The main volume of repair and restoration work falls on the autumn-winter off-season.
In the autumn-winter period of 2021-2022, agricultural organizations of the region will have to repair about 6,941 units of tractors and combines, including tractors - 4,865 units, grain harvesters - 1,947 units, forage harvesters - 129 units.
At present, the level of repair readiness of tractors and combines has been brought to 95.1% of availability. Also, in the remaining period of equipment preparation (until March 31, 2022), agricultural enterprises need to repair about 5 thousand units of self-propelled agricultural machinery.
“A responsible approach to maintaining the machine and tractor fleet in good condition allows us to carry out a range of agrotechnological works, including the harvesting campaign, mainly on our own, without resorting to the help of various third-party organizations,” said Evgeny Trukhachev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
Actively preparing equipment for spring field work in CJSC "Kalinin" Budyonnovsky district. The presence of welding, turning, forging, pressing equipment allows the enterprise to carry out the planned repairs on its own. At present, repair work at ZAO Kalininskoye has been completed by 70% of the plan. According to the chief engineer of the agricultural enterprise, all the equipment necessary for the start of spring field work will be prepared on time.
“Putting equipment into storage significantly extends its service life. Therefore, in this farm for many years, all grain harvesting equipment has been stored in hangars and under sheds. When examining the premises, the economic approach and competent organization of labor are noticeable in everything, which allows the farm to receive high yields and maintain financial stability,” said Nikolay Onipko, HEAD of the agriculture department of the Budyonnovsky district.
