Head of the Komi Ministry of Agriculture took part in the inter-municipal forum in Pechora

As part of the work of one of the forum sites, they discussed measures of state support for small and medium-sized businesses. Olga Chilikina, Head of the Department of State Programs of the Komi Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Market, recalled what support measures the region's farmers can count on.
Among such measures are the reimbursement of expenses for paying the down payment for the purchase of equipment, the indexation of milk rates, subsidizing its growth, the increase in areas for potatoes , the introduction of artificial insemination, subsidizing the construction of construction projects in the agro-industrial complex, the construction of corrals, deer pastures, the purchase of deer meat, the purchase of mineral fertilizers, seeds, agrotechnical works, purchase of breeding stock.
This whole complex of measures provided allows the Republic of Komi to occupy the golden mean in the North-West for the second year in terms of production both in agricultural organizations and among farmers.
As part of the integrated development of rural areas, issues of providing housing for rural citizens, personnel support, creating rural infrastructure, providing rural mortgages at 3%, and concessional lending are being addressed.
15 reference settlements have been identified and placed at disposal with a long-term development plan.
As Olga Chilikina noted, today there are various regulatory mechanisms that allow the municipalities of the republic to create conditions for comfortable living of citizens. State support mechanisms are good because they are flexible, both at the regional and federal levels, so it all depends on whether we take advantage of these opportunities or not.
The Minister of Agriculture and Consumer Market of Komi Ildar Andaryanov drew the attention of the heads of settlements to the need for proper land management.
“The earth is the foundation of the foundations. Improper use of the land leads to its depletion. There is a demand for land today. We must actively work with the land - engage in agriculture, produce agricultural products, help and support farmers,” Ildar Andaryanov stressed.
