Feed production will be launched by an agricultural cooperative in Transbaikalia

Work on the production of extruded compound feed will begin in 2022, the agricultural consumer processing procurement cooperative "Progress" from the Aginsky district. This was announced by Deputy HEAD of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Trans-Baikal Territory Alexander Tyukavkin.

“In order to organize the production of compound feed, protein-vitamin and mineral supplements, the Progress agricultural cooperative will launch the production of extruded compound feed this year. The implementation of the project to create a sustainable forage base for livestock farms in Transbaikalia will amount to 11.3 million rubles, of which 6.7 million rubles are grant support funds received earlier as a result of a competitive selection at the regional Ministry of Agriculture,” said the deputy minister.

According to him, work on the reconstruction of the roof of the production facility has now been completed.

“Also, the cooperative is preparing to purchase a line for the production of extruded feed. Preliminary contracts for the supply of raw materials have been concluded,” said Alexander Tyukavkin.

Extruded feed is a new generation of pure feed obtained from various raw materials: grain or grain mixtures. it is completely absorbed by animals due to the decomposition of complex sugars into simpler forms. The mixture can be used as a complete diet or as a main ingredient for inclusion in current animal diets to balance diets for protein.
