Agrarians of the Penza region started sowing spring crops

Agricultural enterprises of the Penza region have started spring sowing.
In the Zemetchinsky and Bashmakovsky districts of the Penza region, the sowing of spring wheat has begun. Spring sowing was carried out on an area of ​​574 hectares.
This year, spring sowing in the Penza region will be carried out on an area of ​​1,057.7 thousand hectares. Penza agricultural enterprises are fully prepared for the start of seasonal field work.
For spring sowing, the farms of the region need 97.2 thousand tons of seeds of spring crops. At present, the demand for the planned structure of sown areas of spring cereals, taking into account the insurance fund, is fully provided.
For spring field work in 2022, 24.2 thousand tons of fuels and lubricants, 21.2 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 2.5 thousand tons of gasoline and 0.5 thousand tons of motor oils are needed, the required volume is being systematically imported to farms. Also, to ensure the complex of field work in 2022, the preparation of the necessary agricultural machinery and equipment was provided.
