The Ukrainian government has transferred two Kiev apartments of Russian designer and blogger Artemy Lebedev under the management of the country's State Property Fund, the fund's press service reported.
The decision to seize these assets was made by the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine in July. We are talking about two apartments with an area of 138.5 square meters. m and 193.2 sq. m. The publication "Country" wrote that both of them are located in the center of Kyiv - on Yaroslavsky Val and on Saksagansky Street.
“Previously, they were in the direct possession of Lebedev, as well as indirectly through business partner Konstantin Morshnev,” the state property fund clarified.
The institution reported that after all the procedures for registering the seized assets, the issue of their privatization or leasing will be considered. They also promised that the proceeds would be directed to a fund created by the Ukrainian government, which is engaged in eliminating the consequences of hostilities.
“I don’t give any comments,” Artemy Lebedev told RBC.
Lebedev, commenting on the decision of the Ukrainian authorities, published a photo of an apartment in Kyiv in his Telegram channel in July. “My hut is now exactly on the edge. It's a pity for the Kyiv apartment. I will miss her,” he wrote.
