
The Israeli Ministry of HEALTH has approved the sale of cultured MEAT based on beef, department press secretary Shira Solomon said in a TELEGRAM channel.
“The Alternative Protein Pilot Program [...] is the first time in the world that a product has been approved that includes a cell culture derived from bovine cells rather than chicken cells,” Solomon said.
He clarified that permission to sell artificial meat was given to the food technology developer Aleph Farms Ltd.
