Daily number of patients with COVID-19 continues to rise in the region

In the Kaliningrad region over the past day, 186 cases of coronavirus have been detected, 183 people have recovered, there are no deaths. This is reported by the regional operational headquarters.

In 137 infected people, the infection occurs in the form of SARS, in 30 - in the form of pneumonia, another 19 people are asymptomatic.

Among the infected children: four preschoolers under six years of age who do not attend kindergarten, three schoolchildren, ten students (BFU, BGA, KMRK, MFUA, College of Service and Tourism, Rachmaninov College).

Among adult patients: 61 pensioners, 45 individual entrepreneurs, 24 non-working citizens, four health workers, six specialists from educational institutions. The infection was also confirmed in four employees of trade and public catering enterprises, 11 employees of industrial enterprises, four employees of transport companies, four employees of the food industry, and four employees of banks. One infected person was identified in a hotel and at a housing and communal services enterprise.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 50,753 infections have been registered in the region, 46,759 have been ill, and 732 have died.
