A personalized approach to human health, proactivity, healthcare going beyond medical institutions, openness of information and processes, and collaboration of medical and other social structures are innovations in the social sphere of the capital. Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, made such a statement on Thursday at the IV Forum of Social Innovations of the Regions.

“Digitalization should create a new technological order and deep conditions for the penetration of the medicine of the future. It must be personalized, predictive, and its main participant, the patient, must be motivated. Personalization and prediction are impossible without the patient's clinical context. This is a huge painstaking work, which suggests that for each person it is necessary to create a model that understands what state of the body he has, what physiological and biological processes take place in him, not just like that, but through well-structured data that are linked to various clinical entities. ," the Vice Mayor said.

Simplified access doubled Muscovites' interest in electronic medical records Technology & Media

According to her, over the past years, Moscow has made significant progress in the direction of personalization and predictiveness of medicine. As an example, the deputy mayor cited an electronic medical record, which is currently used by 15 million patients in the capital. In addition, the vice-mayor reminded that children's medical records have been digitized in the capital for a year and a half. By the end of the year, according to her, data will be digitized starting from the birth of all 2 million little Muscovites.

“Customer focus in healthcare, a proactive approach will remain cool, but unrealizable dreams of the public health system, if we do not change the technology of the doctor’s work – today he has no time at all for all these beautiful things, so we need to change business processes in institutions, in a new way revise, cancel unnecessary documents, change everything. We are actively moving in this direction,” the Vice Mayor said.
