Putin announced the index action of pensions and benefits "in the near future"

Indexation of pensions, salaries of public sector specialists and social benefits will happen in Russia soon, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with the Council of Legislators. The broadcast was conducted by the TV channel "Russia 24".

“I want to note that concrete decisions will be made in the near future,” the president promised.

To implement this decision, Putin continued, parliamentarians should “thoroughly work out” the necessary amendments and legal mechanisms. According to him, these measures are aimed at helping the most vulnerable groups of Russians.
