The Palestinian Ministry of HEALTH has registered the Russian one-component vaccine against covid-19 Sputnik Light, the press service of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said.
“Thanks to the approval of the drug in Palestine, it will be possible to vaccinate a large number of people in a short time and quickly form population immunity,” said Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of RDIF.
According to him, the use of Sputnik Light will significantly reduce the likelihood of severe cases of the disease, which require hospitalization.
In January, a two-component Sputnik V vaccine was also registered in Palestine.
