Coronavirus in Novosibirsk: summary for October 17

According to the operational headquarters, on the morning of October 17, 66,797 cases of coronavirus were registered in the region (+250 per day), including 6,047 children. 52,211 patients fully recovered (+39 per day). Eight more patients have died: men aged 64, 68, 83, 84, 84 and women aged 73, 82, 83. A total of 3,193 people have died from coronavirus in the region.

2,698 patients, including 59 children, were hospitalized in infectious disease hospitals of the region with a diagnosis of COVID-19 and suspected of it. There are 278 people in intensive care units. On mechanical ventilation - 49 patients. In total, 2,627,832 coronavirus tests have been done in the Novosibirsk Region.
