After some foreign clothing brands left the Russian market, RBC Tatarstan interviewed local manufacturers. The founder of the Pavline Store brand, Landysh Pavlova, said that she plans to increase production volumes, expand the product range and size range, as the demand for manufactured clothes has increased.
Gulnur Gizatullina, co-founder of the Kazan brand Ricoco, noted that even before foreign brands left the Russian market, the company began to increase production volume and, accordingly, increase shipments.
According to her, production is operating at maximum capacity. But there is no consumer rush due to the departure of foreign brands. Clothing sales are growing due to the transition from one season to another and the sale of the winter collection.
“We have already gone through the experience of increasing sales during a pandemic and the closure of shopping centers. Now the situation is different, and the excitement is still observed in other areas. But we always have proven third-party production, always ready to take our orders,” says Gizatullina.
Co-founder of the Corner17 store brand Ekaterina Poznyak, in an interview with RBC Tatarstan, said that she did not plan to increase the shipment volume, since the market situation is unstable. The autumn collection was recently released, and the work on the summer collection continues on the same scale.
