November 22, Vetka. The commissioning of new MTC facilities at the Iskra-Vetka agricultural enterprise in the Vetkovsky district is planned in two stages. The construction completion dates were verified during a visit to the construction site by Presidential Aide - Inspector for the Gomel Region Yuri Gorlov, BELTA reports.

The livestock complex is located in the agricultural town of Prisno. A strong economy expects an expansion of area in the near future. These days, a dairy farm employs dozens of workers simultaneously at several sites. “Their construction began a year ago. By the end of this year, it is planned to commission two facilities with a milking and milk block, the third - in the first quarter of 2024. Now hard work is underway. Everyone is trying, we go out on Saturdays to meet the deadline. The President clearly outlined challenges for our industry,” said the director of the enterprise, Alexander Sachava.

The general contractor is "Gomelagrokomplekt", whose specialists install equipment manufactured at the enterprise. We are talking about a high-performance milking machine of the carousel type.

Milk yield on the farm is higher than last year's level; 80% is extra-class milk. With the commissioning of the facilities, the volumes and capabilities of the livestock complex will increase significantly, and the number of dairy herds will increase to 1.5 thousand. Additionally, it is planned to attract such specialists as livestock breeders , machine milking operators, etc.

These objects are on the list that are being built by decree of the head of state. The President’s initiative implies not only the commissioning of new agricultural facilities with modern equipment, but also, as a result, an improvement in living conditions for animals, an increase in the image of agricultural workers, since at such complexes working conditions and the level of comfort for livestock representatives are significantly improved.

Yuri Gorlov emphasized: delays in commissioning deadlines cannot be allowed. The implementation of this task is under the special control of the regional leadership and others. The company assured that everything will be completed on time. The Presidential Assistant also recommended studying the prospects for constructing dispensaries for calves on the farm.

Yuri Gorlov visited the district’s social infrastructure facilities and production sites today.
