As of October 1, 2021, the agricultural enterprises of the Ternopil region contain 34 thousand head of cattle. This is 4.3% more than the corresponding period last year. In particular, 13.5 thousand heads of cows are kept, which is 6.3% more.

This was reported to AgroPortal.ua in the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Ternopil Regional State Administration.

“I would like to note that new livestock complexes have been built in the region for several years. To date, two enterprises - Buchachagrokhlebprom LLC and Ukraine LLC - are implementing investment projects for the construction of dairy complexes and increasing the number of cattle, ”says Vladimir Stakhov, director of the department.
