Last week, operational officers of the Smolensk customs suspended the movement of 3 minibuses moving from the Republic of Belarus, bypassing official registration points, in which more than 10.5 tons of beef were in unsanitary conditions, writes PionerProdukt with reference to the press service of the regional Rosselkhoznadzor .
The detained vehicles were delivered to the Krasnaya Gorka PPU and, as part of the interaction, were transferred to the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Bryansk and Smolensk regions.
During the inspection, the veterinary inspectors of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department established that in all cases the transportation of meat raw materials was carried out in vehicles not adapted for transporting food products, without any documents confirming its origin, quality and safety, and also without signs of veterinary and sanitary examinations.
To exclude the presence of pathogens of especially dangerous animal diseases, samples were taken from the products and sent for research to the Bryansk Interregional Veterinary Laboratory.
After the completion of all verification activities and the receipt of the results of the examinations, these cargoes were subjected to the procedure of denaturation with a solution of methylene blue and ASD and returned to the territory of the Republic of Belarus, and the guilty persons were brought to administrative responsibility.
