As part of the “One District - One Project” program, more than 2.2 thousand jobs will be created in the Minsk region

November 3, MINSK As part of the implementation of the “One District - One Project” program, they plan to create more than 2.2 thousand new jobs in the Minsk region, a BELTA correspondent was told in the Economics Committee of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.

“In pursuance of the instructions of the HEAD of State to create production facilities in each administrative-territorial unit, the Minsk Regional Executive Committee included 46 investment projects with a total value of Br1.4 billion in the list of “One district - one project”. Based on the results of the implementation of these projects, it is planned to create 2,269 jobs,” - said the chairman of the committee, Ksenia Sosedchik.

All projects included in the list involve the creation of new production facilities with at least 20 jobs when they reach their designed capacity.

“An example of successful early implementation of the project in 2023 was the completion of the reconstruction of a warehouse building for the organization of the production of decking boards by Bergia Group LLC in the Krupsky district. 21 jobs were created at the opened production. Also this year it is planned to complete the project to create an innovative production of MILK powder with capillary-porous structure at the Kopyl branch of Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant OJSC with the creation of 32 jobs,” noted Ksenia Sosedchik.

The Minsk Regional Executive Committee has carried out work to formulate a list of projects for 2024.
